Arriving at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center
Where is the event located?
Anthology Together 2023 will take place at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center located at 2800 Opryland Drive, Nashville, Tennessee 37214. Registration/check-in for the conference will be in the Delta Lobby. A check-in desk with a lower counter will be available and can be reached by entering any registration line.
The hotel has a level entrance with automatic doors. The reception desk has a lowered section and the route to the elevators is level. The elevators lead to the guest and meeting rooms.
Are airport shuttles provided?
Anthology does not provide transportation to/from the airport. Taxis and transportation via Uber and Lyft are available at Nashville International Airport. Pick-up zones are in the New Ground Transportation Center in Terminal Garage 2.

What are the parking and drop-off options?
Parking is available at the Gaylord Opryland. Rates are $35 for self-parking and $48 for valet. Discounted accessible valet parking is available for $26.25. Prices do not include taxes and service charges.
For any Uber/Lyft/rideshare pick ups and drop offs, there is a rideshare pick up area adjacent to the main resort entrance. Any guests arriving at this location should enter the resort via the Cascades Lobby.
Hotel Accessibility
Are accessible guest rooms available?
Accessible guest rooms are available in all four sections of the hotel. Rooms offer a variety of features to accommodate different disabilities. Please request an accessible room when making your room reservation. Note that there is some distance from the guest rooms to the conference space. Where are the elevators located?
All elevator locations are indicated on our event map, which can be accessed by downloading the Anthology Together attendee app. The elevators are also marked with braille signage throughout the hotel.
Are there accessible bathrooms?
Yes, there are accessible bathrooms throughout the conference space, with features including automatic door openers, larger stall(s), taller toilets, and grab bars. There is one single-stall bathroom located in Ryman Studio on level 0 of the Convention Center. Bathrooms are denoted with braille signs outside the door.
What are the options for bringing and renting mobility equipment?
We encourage you to bring your own wheelchair, electric scooter, walker, cane, crutches, or other mobility equipment to the convention. Please note that Anthology does not provide push services for attendees. If you need mobility assistance, please ensure you work directly with Gaylord Opryland’s on-site provider, Bradley Health Services, located off the Cascades Lobby.
The Gaylord Opryland rents the following mobility equipment:
- Wheelchairs for $20/day
- Electric scooters for $50/day
Wheelchairs and electric scooters can be delivered to guest rooms for a $10 charge. Bradley Health Services, located off the Cascades Lobby, is open daily from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. For more information and to make reservations, call 615-458-2615.
Is there a lactation space?
Yes, there is a lactation room for breastfeeding or pumping. This is located in Belle Meade A on the Magnolia Mezzanine level.
Are guide dogs allowed?
Yes, the Gaylord Opryland is happy to host all trained service animals. No other animals are allowed in the venue. Please indicate on your registration form if you anticipate bringing a service animal to the conference.
Is the venue smoke free?
The entire resort is non-smoking. We are still gathering information on the location of designated smoking areas around the venue.

Where can I get my accessibility questions answered during the event?
For any on-site accessibility questions or concerns, please visit the Registration and Information desk in the Delta Lobby. You can also call 5555 on any house phone to reach safety & security.
What is the conference space like?
For the overall layout of the venue, please refer to the conference map and accessibility guide.
The conference is spread across multiple levels of the Convention Center at the Gaylord Opryland Resort. Hotel rooms are located across the resort, and it can take up to 20 minutes to reach the Convention Center.
Important Conference Areas:
- Registration: Delta Lobby on Level 2, accessed via stairs, escalator, or the D4 elevator
- Main Sessions: Delta Ballroom on Level 2, accessed via stairs, escalator, or the D4 elevator
- Breakfast and Lunch: Ryman Exhibit Hall C2 on Level 0
- Breakout Sessions and Breaks: Convention Center in Bayou and Canal Rooms on the Mezzanine Level, Governors Chamber and Tennessee Ballroom (Level 2), and the Ryman Ballroom and Ryman Studios (Level 0)
- Other Meetings: (e.g., user groups or other requests for space)
- Delta Island meeting rooms, located across the Delta Bridge from the main registration and exhibit area, accessed via the D5 elevator or stairs
- Magnolia Mezzanine, accessed by stairs adjacent to the Tennessee Ballroom or the M2 elevators located in the Magnolia Lobby
Will there be reserved seating during presentations for those with accessibility needs?
Yes, we will have dedicated seating areas for individuals with mobility equipment and those using a sign language interpreter. Meeting rooms will have wheelchair spaces by the central aisle at the back of the room.
Will sign language interpreters be provided?
Anthology provides interpreters for the Deaf and open captions for our main stage presentations. If you require additional interpretation, the conference will provide a team of sign language interpreters if requested by any attendees during the early registration period.
Please make your request as early as possible, and we will follow up with you closer to the event to discuss your needs in more detail. After May 31, 2023 (the deadline for early registration), a best effort will be made to accommodate requests, but we cannot guarantee that interpreters will be available.
Will speakers and audience members asking questions use a microphone?
Yes, microphones will be used by all speakers. Attendees with questions will be asked to use a microphone so that they are more easily heard.
Where is braille signage located throughout the property?
Braille signage is located near or in elevators, restrooms, guest rooms, and conference meeting rooms.
Will there be loud music, strobe lighting, spotlights, or other strong sensory experiences?
Our main stage events will include pre-show performance acts that may consist of loud music, strobe lighting, and spotlights.
Do breakout rooms require presenters to use a stage?
Most breakout rooms will not include a stage or riser. If you are a presenter who would prefer not to use a stage or riser, please indicate this in your speaker information questionnaire by May 31, 2023, so that we can make the appropriate arrangements.
Dietary Considerations
What food service will be provided?
The conference will provide buffet breakfasts and lunches and refreshments during breaks and reception-style functions. All dishes will be labeled with the name of the cuisine and allergens. If you have special dietary needs, please indicate these clearly on your registration form.
Will the conference accommodate special dietary needs?
Yes. Dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, dairy free, and nut allergies, will be accounted for during menu selection, and all food will be labeled accordingly. We will do our best to meet your dietary needs during the conference. Many meals will be served buffet style and have vegetarian and vegan options. All food stations will be labeled with ingredients so attendees with food sensitivities are informed.
Attendees who indicate special dietary requirements on their registration form will be provided with special meals in cases where the conference catering does not accommodate them. We will reach out closer to the event to confirm specifics.
I require a kosher meal; what are my options?
Kosher meals will be available on request only. You may request these by indicating them in your registration form. Please note that all submissions are due by May 31, 2023.
Off-Site Client Appreciation Party (CAP)
Can I walk to the Client Appreciation Party?
No, the Client Appreciation Party takes place at the Wildhorse Saloon and One Fourteen in downtown Nashville, approximately a 20-minute drive. Transportation, including wheelchair-accessible vehicles, will be provided.

Is the Client Appreciation Party venue accessible?
The Wildhorse Saloon and One Fourteen are both wheelchair accessible. Both venues are accessible via the front entrances and have accessible restrooms and elevators on all floors. The venues are connected on both the first and third floors.
Will there be loud music, strobe lighting, spotlights, or other strong sensory experiences?
Yes, at times. After the CAP dinner, attendees will be invited to dance to the music from one of Wildhorse Saloon’s best local acts. For those looking for a more relaxed atmosphere, the One Fourteen space will offer a quiet respite where attendees can chat with one another.
